My Light Fades

I could hear the slow drip falling to the floor, A rhythm that followed the rain hitting the window; My feeling slowly restricted as my head hits the wall. The pile of bottles growing on the floor. I was with him that day, our tears forming into one puddle, He was the only one I felt really understood my pain. We were one entity after her death; She kept us both bright, Helping us see how the other side forms their lives. No one else really knew her and if they did, They didn't know how she saved me. Now I wonder if there really is a reason to stay here. My reason to live fading just like the memory of her did a month before.
