My Life Did Sweet

My life de sweet? (Twice) You know how much time me spend pan de Street, a dead fi piece a bulla fi eat You know how much lick me get fi thief And you a come tell mi say, “My life de sweet!” My life de sweet? You know how much time me and my friends sit down pan de cornna a watch the car dem a go Zit zap, zit zap up and down pan the street And a say, “Da one day a my own, da one da a my own” And we don’t even sit down pan de the seat And you a come tell me say, “My life de sweet!” My life de sweet? De place where me live me can’t sleep (Dog bark - gun shot sound) Down to dog dem all a sweep And you a come tell me say, “My life de sweet!” My life de sweet? You know how much a my friends dead from the street We couldn’t write so good/well nor read Nobody wants to employ us because of where we sleep So dem go “o’cle” to satisfied dem needs And they still rub them! Don’t even give dem six foot deep And you a come tell me say, “My life de sweet!” My life de sweet? Such memories haunt me entire body from me head, down to me feet And you a tell mi say, “My life de sweet!” My lifer de sweet (repeat 3 times) After me go down pan me knees and ball to god to help me get me life neat. You a come tell me say, “My life de sweet!” My life de sweet? (twice) Oh!! So a mi clothes you see, why you say my life did sweet Yes! Mi life sweet now, because a Jesus Christ dweet
