My Life Began In Six Weeks
My life began at six weeks
Why indeed should that be?
Because up till that point
My parents I did not see
An adopted child I was
As my new parents did say
Who were my real mum and dad?
I never knew to this day
I lived among the flowers and the grass
As the countryside was my home
Where I enjoyed the fresh air
With space to wander and roam
But many challenges lay ahead
School, job and all of life
Many changes come my way
Survived it all even the strife
Now looking back on my life
I see the divine hand
Looking after me all the time
Holding me up so to stand
