My Last Sunset

The triple sun set - what a sight, And colours that I’d never seen, My captors chirping their delight. The triple sun set - what a sight, Before the thirty moons of night. My fellow captives: bones picked clean. The triple sun set - what a sight, And colours that I’d never seen.

Great entry. I haven't entered this one. Brain dead. We are all having trouble getting on and getting knocked off Jack. I am glad you keep trying and thank you for your kind comments. Love, Joyce

Interesting use of rhyme and imagery. It feels like a sense of conflict giving the reader something to ponder. Best wishes with your writing. Karen

Wow, we're thinking alike, Jack. I was going to write one with two suns. Frightening image of your fellow captives having their bones picked clean. Best wishes for success in Paula's contest! Love, Carolyn
