My Last Goodbye

As I look into my cup of coffee As black as my soul Most likely others would agree The blackness surrounding me The pain and guilt that i carry Doesn't compare To what I put you through My one big regret, is hurting you And I always tell people Never regret anything It has made you who you are But I have one big regret Of losing someone I will never get again The words may seem empty Though I promise you they are not This pain that i have, has no end Not of losing you Though i will admit That is excruciating The pain of hurting you is one I can't bear It holds my indefinitely And won't let go But i deserve it, I'm no good One day I hope, I pray You can forgive me Though I don't hold out much hope Theres a spark that won't diminish Though it is slowly dying I hope you find happiness No one deserves it more than you Your more than you think you are But I'll leave you alone, I'll let you heal From all the pain and grief that I have put you through This Sir, is my last goodbye
