My Kitty Tippy's Secret

When I was looking for a new kitten, I wanted a girl so I'd be smitten But the kitten I took in, Held a secret deep within When stroking her belly lovingly, I made a strange discovery The tiny little thing I spied, Makes me think my friend lied Tippy can't be to blame and yet, Now we're going to see the vet I just found out before Easter that Tippy, my rescued kitten is a boy, not a girl. I was surprised to say the least. I had no clue. Tippy is a Maine Coone, which is a long-haired breed, and I never saw his male parts until last Thursday when I was petting his belly. He went to the vet and was neutered yesterday.

Janice, this is just too adorable! I went online curious to see that breed and they are gorgeous! No doubt you will love Tippy no matter what his sex! Too cute! Love, Shar

Your poem is very funny, Janice. It's hard to tell the sex of kittens when they are tiny. The way you described your discovery gave me a hearty laugh! I'm sure you'll love Tippy regardless of his sex, but females tend to stay closer to home. This was a delight to read! Love, Carolyn
