Is so pretty.
Prancing all around.
With a string I tease my KITTY.
He makes that meowing sound.
I accident-ly squeezed my KITTY.
Now he's no where to be found.
I look under the house.
Saying here KITTY KITTY,
when out jumped a mouse.
I feel to the ground.
Suddenly seeing my KITTY hissing.
Running out from underneath the house.
I am chasing my KITTY,
while he chases a mouse.
Grabbing him by the tail,
scratching me.
That serves me well.
Letting him be.
My sweet KITTY come to me.
That mouse is bigger than thee.
Afraid the mouse ate my KITTY.
I started feeling very shi##y.
With tears upon my eyes.
Calling for my KITTY KITTY.
Suddenly I hear a loud purring.
Where have you been ,
my itty bitty KITTY.
After taking my KITTY inside,
feeding my KITTY milk.
I can not bare the thought ,
that my KITTY had died.

Interesting simplicity with a suggestion of the subliminal double entendre.

This was very cool, Irma. I feel the same way about my Bindie Sue... No way I am letting her out, if something happened to her...I just couldn't bear it. Good one!

First of all, welcome to the warmest, most friendly poetry community around! Thank you for the kind sentiments on my latest poem. Last year, my kitty slipped out the front door as I was leaving for school. He was outside all day. When I returned from school, I found him hiding under my other car. He was terrified! I picked him up to bring him inside,..."OUCH!!" The little fart scratched me! I enjoyed your poem, great rhyming! Milt
