My King and My Queen

I found peace in my youth- The truth is he stole my heart at first glance. The minute he had a chance he showed romance- He completed me in solitude, I gained an attitude of sincerity- Solidarity and so much more as he shut the door and offered me a golden ring- For he is my beloved husband, my honorable King. I need not bow down as we are equal- The sequel to our story came a couple years later- She arrived exactly the moment I needed her…fate had me- no more atonement- I cater to my sweetness with grateful love, a tender gift from above, so graceful and serene- My beautiful daughter… my Queen. I found peace in my life with my King and my Queen. Now I love a life so happy in the highest esteem. They make my soul shine with a glitter of gleam, and became my one true peaceful dream. Laura, made me smile - a poem with a great sense of completeness, peace and happiness in a world where I think it's easier to write about sorrow and pain. One question, though - has your Queen become a teenager yet?
