My Kangaroo

My joy is full in you, my bride Without your love, I might have died I might have died to be alone Or languish by the telephone A dipsy doodle, ding-dong dunce Describes the man who loved you once The man who made you shrug on sight Is now the one you hug at night I married you, and by the way I carried you, and your bouquet Across the threshold of our door To be my wife forevermore How grateful can a person be To know your love belongs to me Belongs to me and me for you My pretty little kangaroo.

Thank you, Andrea. You can steal this poem if you like, but I doubt you carried Joey across the threshold. Ha Ha--thanks for commenting, my friend. Luv, Bryan
