My Invisible Friends
I connect with them everyday,
conversing about our
joy, sorrow and pain,
finding we have a lot
in common,
helping us to gain,
insight into our souls,
to help alleviate the pain,
bringing joy and laughter,
to hold back the rain,
we have a common thread,
to get our thoughts on paper,
then edit it a bit,
and post the finished product,
hoping to get
someone to comment,
then we feel like
we have accomplished something,
I've never met these friends,
but we have a common root,
thats why I am so glad,
I signed up for poetry soup.
