My Inner Demons
They tell me to run,
They tell me to hide,
And at sometimes, they want me to commit suicide.
I live in agony,
I live in grief, everyone stares, and still
Nobody understands me.
I see the darkest face,
Blood starts to run,
It never slows, but it continues its pace.
I stare into dark and lumid eyes,
The pain is unbearable.
I try to help, I try to fight; but
Sometimes the truth isn't as strong as lies.
Everything goes dark, Then appears a luminous light.
The light pulls, the darkness pulls harder,
I whisper to myself, "Please let this be the end of my life!"
Then I hear your voice, I leave this cell,
You say you're sorry,
But I say, "Thank you; thank you for putting me through hell..."
