My Imaginary Friend Is Breaking My Heart
I have an imaginary friend,
He’s everywhere I go.
He’s with me when I run real fast,
And when I walk real slow.
I wish he wouldn’t follow me,
I wish he’d leave me alone.
I’ve now become an adult, and
My childhood I’ve outgrown.
You see, I think he likes my girlfriend,
Way more than he really should,
And I think she yearns for him also,
If she could have him she prob'ly would.
Even my dog prefers to play with him,
Whenever I’m around.
My imaginary friend doesn’t talk or call,
Doesn’t even make a sound.
Actually, I suspect my girl and dog,
Are eloping with my imaginary friend.
I think they’re all moving to the coast,
By the end of this weekend.
