My Home Sweet Home
Your scent, take with my heart
Touch everything with my mind
Each hug closely snuggled within my arms
Before dragging these heavy steps towards the knob
Look around blurry at you, my world
Hopeful these memories last the lifetime I won’t be here
When melancholy visits away, you’ll be right there waving it adieu
If missing gets a higher fever, you’ll be the damp cloth to lower it
I wave goodbye to you, my home…. sweet home
But take you with me, where I go
