Thank You for making me upright midst sinfulness’ defilement While purging my soul of selfish motives’ element Enabling me toward holiness-involvement Steadfast in fulfilling every devoted commitment. Thank You for making me upright midst foolishness’ interruption While enlightening my mind for biblical action Enabling me toward wisdom-application Settled in choosing stewardship function. Thank You for making me upright midst skepticism’s haughtiness While subduing my conviction against intellectual boastfulness Enabling me toward humility-meekness Secured in abiding in Your provisions’ goodness. Thank You for making me upright midst poverty’s challenges While meeting my needs within Your bounty’s packages Enabling me toward contentment-surges Satisfied in learning through Your exhorting charges. Thank You for making me upright midst trials’ fervency While empowering my will against trust’s insufficiency Enabling me toward service-persistency Sturdy in conquering fears with Your truth and mercy.
