My God, Thank You For Calling Me To Repent

MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR CALLING ME TO REPENT Thank You for calling me to repent from my idolatry Toward Your truthful glory As You chastise my transgressions with Your forgiveness-victory… Please keep me in Your life-building ministry. Thank You for calling me to repent from my abominations Toward Your cleansing functions As You wash my evil deeds with Your purging sanctifications… Please soak me into Your heart-purifying instructions. Thank You for calling me to repent from my iniquities Toward Your transforming sensibilities As You convert my character with Your perfection-qualities… Please mold me by Your attitude-training abilities. Thank You for calling me to repent from my defilements Toward Your hallowing agreements As You correct my errors with Your standard measurements… Please teach me through Your step-directing requirements. Thank You for calling me to repent from my unrighteousness Toward Your compassionate holiness As You purge my confessed sins with Your pardon-goodness… Please strengthen me by Your faith-refining mightiness. Thank You for calling me to repent from my trespasses Toward Your empowering processes As You replace my mischief-curses with Your deliverance-braces… Please lift me up through Your spirit-reviving forces. Thank You for calling me to repent from my misbehaving Toward Your wonderful loving As You control my carnal impulses with Your principle-rules’ proving… Please uphold me as I keep on striving according to Your conviction-driving.
