My Gift

God brought us together
For reasons we may never know
You are the best blessing I could ever pray for
And this, I want you to always know
Good things happen to good people
And I hope you receive every blessing
It may not come right when you ask
But it will definitely happen, no question
“God made us friends, but our hearts made us sisters.”
Your words will stay with me forever
Though our paths are changing
I promise to be there through whatever
You are truly someone special
And let no one tell you otherwise
And when you least expect it
God will hand you the best surprise
Hold on to your wisdom
And let your confidence take you far
I’ll always be just a call away
No matter where we are
There are no real words to describe my appreciation
But I guess this poem will have to do
To my Gift from God, to my sister
I love you!!!!!!
