My Fondest Memory

My fondest memory is of your birth my love. We fit together like hand in glove. I wanted you so badly I cannot tell. Your love took me from my living hell. Although you could not communicate. I read your mind, make no mistake. I felt your love through your touch. Never knew that I could love so much. Having you has made my life complete. Although you've left me now to find your feet. Goodbye my child, my precious pet. My soul's delighted your soul I've met.

My precious pet is now half way through her Masters in American literature in Dublin, running a temperature of 38.6 as we speak from this Aussie flu which has invaded our shores. She gets the bus home shortly and I will bring all my nursing and mothering skills to bear in making her well again. Thank you as always for your lovely comments Line.

I did Jan and she sent a sweet reply. She is in her final year of a degree in English and Sociology in University College Dublin. So, I now have an informed critic to deal with. Of course that makes her sweet responses all the sweeter.
