My Final Poem

If I was to write my final poem, its imagery and color would never matter at all; every letter and word would be as plain as unlevened bread - its message real and light. I would write a poem that any child would read and understand; I would write a poem that would touch the soul rather than the mind - I would write a poem that would carry the ashes of my bones to the realms of immortality....
