My Father In Me

************************************************************************************ Twas hard to remember exactly the last shooting star which I have seen Thus I seized the moment to make a wish upon a dream; asking for the only gift That truly matters unto me; for amid all these things beautiful, love is the key ~ ************************************************************************************ ....“Upon A Falling Star” *

awesome poem John. Poignant and just right on. I saw your comment you made on Doris Culverhouses's poem about the aquarium and it got me laughing pretty hard. Guess it brought back old memories. Thanks for that laugh and for sharing this fine poem - Bob

John "Love is the key" I agree with this line. It is an intangible , precious, everlasting gift one can receive. Thanks for sharing. Dalila

: ) Yes, it needs repeating, "...love is the key. If only we all had eyes to see! Beautiful thoughts and I'm sure He smiled whilst watching you. I find him there in the simplest of pleasures..the soft rain, the early a.m. fog... Keep wishing and hoping, John. It keeps us alive. Much love, Annalise

It sure is, and the only way to create, recover and recreate. Just as God has done over so many eons of years. How little do we realized how much we are loved by the One who gave us life. Thanks for sharing, John and thank you for your comments on my poem. Caroline.
