My Familiar Story

We laugh more We love each other more We are more comfortable with each other When drunk When drinking We may even be more open We, hiding our demons With the drink We, hiding our pains and wounds With the drink We, a family We put a show Its almost like a circus We play life dangerous We are dangerous to each other

We drink to attain our laughing place but the drink negates the laughing place to a bizarre charade. Inhibitions relaxed, judgement goes awry. Succinctly put but very true. Good write Njeri. Hugz Ian

Yes when we let the drinks take over our minds and lives alot of wrongs happen. Thanx Ian

Yes it is familiar, this was my life when I was a kid. Thankfuly when I left home I was able to take a different path. Very powerful.
