My Crush
Her brown eyes glance into mine and stuns me;
My heart freezes, seduced by her elegance.
I glance back at her; making my heart flee,
As it fears bursting due to her presence.
She sweeps her flowing, brown hair to the side,
And my heart tightens from what it has seen.
Her beauty hits me and I want to hide.
My heart wants her love and I too was keen.
But my ambition wasn’t to take place;
My presence does not bring light to her core,
I am a peasant trying to make my case.
And she is a queen that seeks something more
Perhaps my crush on her is quite insane,
But how do I rid myself of the pain?
