My Cloud By Upma
Get off my cloud
Writing straight from heart,
I fail to stick to form of poetry sometimes,
No wonder I don't place in a contest,
But many caring comments guide,
Sometimes poets laugh at me,
And linguistic agony I do invite,
Want my soul to fly free,
and my pen to move liberal,
Words to align as they wish,
Melody to pick its notes,
And rhyme and set my heart beat,
To the content of the soul!
You intoxicate,
injure the sublime,
Make my heart bleed,
as sharp words pierce,
Enough of attitude,
If can't be a critique,
No matter how I write,
Or live or die,
Hey you !
Just get off my cloud !
