My Bunny and Me

My bunny and me, we used to be happy We laugh, run, and play together everyday I love bunny coz it’s very fluffy We’re best of friends. Bunny and me My bunny, I used to tell it stories about love adventures and fantasies When I’m with bunny, I had no worries Then one day, rain starts to fall I wonder why bunny didn’t play with me at all It silently stays in a corner curling like a ball It didn’t hear me no matter how much I call My bunny is weak and sad, you see I didn’t know what happened, wish it will tell me I just want to go back to those moments When bunny and me used to be happy And then I looked at bunny intently I grow sad and tears fall down slowly Bunny is staring outside with longing eyes I follow it’s gaze and see other bunnies and birds that flies My bunny is as heart broken as me I suddenly realize, it wants to be free And so, I scoop it up and release dear bunny Hoping it could be happy, even without me ---- END ----- This poem is the the first of BUNNY Trilogy that I wrote. The 2nd one titled: WHAT FREEDOM COST ME And 3rd: REUNITED Please take time to read my other poems in my page. Appreciate you all
