My Bible
The journey to my Father's House
Is paved with joy and pain.
Reflections of my chosen path
These pages bound contain.
Steps of joy, if led by Him,
The travel calm and smooth.
But, oh the pain that I did bear
When from His grasp I moved.
Lest I forget when memories fade
And twilight shades my view.
Colors used to light the path
Preserve my way to truth.
Whether from the joy of leading love
Or stumbling steps deserved,
Forever bound these words within,
With ink I have preserved.
Now all can see the lessons learned
When opened, these pages bound.
If on the road to Father's House,
A guiding light they found.
