My Best Friend

A 'lil' daylight left Still so much **** in my head Must relinquish it in a healthy way Organizing my mind fingers aching and numb Hurts so good Oh, WAH It's coming out and entering, my Journal Sunshine Williams

Great lines with majestic eloquence.. Your meandering of words still did not prevent your peice from giving out its message. This is an absolute 7!

Hi Jill, A great poem, to personify your journal as your" best friend", seems such a natural thing to do. To be able to expunge all the clutter that accumulates each day in your mind by sharing, is the only way to stay sane in an insane world to my mind. I do not have a journal but am blessed with some beautiful friends with gentle souls, kind hearts and are always there to listen. Stay safe my friend, I look forward to reading more of your work. Love Shane xxx

Jill, a 91yr young sage of mine I treasure and seek out for coffee and pie every so often always encourages me "jim" he says..." if something is taking up free rent in your head, take it out, hold it in your hand at arms length (it's already farther away) if there is something you can do about it, ok, otherwise, let go and give it up to your higher power" works for me! love, jim

It is good to have an outlet for your thoughts. It is also interesting to look back at past journals and see the progression of thoughts.
