My Beautiful Scar
"MY B EAUTIFUL SCAR IS MY ADDICTION AND MY FAITH IS A HEALING REMINDER"
Before the days of yesterday’s I ran to the hills of high,
Even though I lost MY way I grew my BEAUTIFUL wings to fly
And inside my soul a SCAR that left a mark so very rare,
Utopia had begun and I realized everyone does care.
The beauty of a mistake IS to learn from its regret,
Internal remorse, though rough at times, I never shall forget.
Forgiveness and MY atonement run through my crimson veins,
Until I ended my ADDICTION my scars would have remained.
Lamentation within my hearts creation caused a blemish,
So, when I got sober AND I decided that in my life I shall relish.
Contingent upon my future decisions would MY fate be,
And shining FAITH upon the flaw in my soul IS where you’ll find me.
Reasons are determination and A new HEALING is shown today,
Scars from wounds are a REMINDER that I finally found my way.
