My Beautiful Lilies

I went outside a few days ago, it was somewhat warm dead leaves blowing to and fro. I went into my front yard checking to see if tulips were growing too soon, checked every hole, I did didn't want them to be doomed. I had looked in one of the spots where I planted lilies to grow, had to look carefully up a half an inch, you know. I was happy to see them beetles destroyed them last year, I was quite upset you see under a Summer sky so clear. I went out again today and noticed there were a few more, two in one hole, three in another I wonder what the beetles will have in store. I enjoy the beautiful aroma my assorted lilies give off, they smell exactly like a rose I keep roots clear of moss. Copyright Cynthia Jones Feb.26/2016 I can't wait to see my lilies come up this year. I had a problem with little red beetles last year, that looked like ladybugs. They destroyed my lilies. I don't know what I'll do, if they're around again this year.
