From a woodland field I have picked sweet rainbow wildflowers and they are so pretty in a dark green vase. Each one I think of as people to be thankful for, like family, friends, teachers in life. And I am the vase that holds all the flowers . . . Some represent my battered soul, my journey in this life, my sadness and joy. my courage and strength. _________________________ December 7, 2016 Poetry/Verse/My Battered Soul Copyright Protected, ID 16- 855-909-0 All Rights Reserved. A poetic gem, BW. Spoken w/a poetess' heart. Beautiful imagery ... love the flowers allusion. Great poetic touch. Splendid poem. Love and peace always.

A wonderful way to look at what you are as a result of all the people you have known and carry inside of you. Our souls are dipped and battered as it were. I don't know if that is what you meant. Your words and soul is spectacular.
