My B and Me
I look into your eyes, and we share a friendly embrace
Like schoolyard children we giggle at nothing in particular
You raise me up, when I feel like the world is spinning,
Dancing like a flickering candle,
Uncontrollable, like a flame
Inconsolable, I come to you and we go to Our Lord
Reading the Truth,
Eating from the Spiritual tree of knowledge,
Laughing about the absurdities of this world
Talking to one another in eager anticipation for the Coming of the One
We sing sweet melodious songs in praise and Thanksgiving to our precious
Christ
The redeemer of our souls, the Gentle Savior to whom we both cling
You are my friend, the confidante with whom I share my deepest

The words that I write, the words you have longed to hear
Encapsulated in my thoughts
What more can I say?
