I always knew I’d have a child one day,
A Boy or girl first? I had not a clue.
Once we were married, we did not delay
We had a daughter soon with eyes of blue.
My name for her already I’d picked out
some years before because I liked it so.
An angel’s name she’d have. There was no doubt.,
for “Angela” has such a pretty flow!
We call her Angie; she wears well the name.
She nearly is angelic. As a child,
she never gave us any cause to blame
her for a thing! She’s nurturing and mild.
She’s got her own kids now, and yet for me,
my Angie Baby she will always be.

I chose the song Angie Baby for my inspiration, of course!
