My Alacrity

I smile in the rain, though grey and wet I smile in the snow, though bitter cold I smile in the heat, though dry with thirst I smile all the time, though getting old I smile with a tune, which plays in my head I smile at those jokes, when told aloud I smile when alone, because alone I am not I smile because I am simply allowed You cannot suppress it, the smile I have Two dimples, red cheeks, set all aglow I smile because I can, because I do choose I smile a lot and I want it to show
