Must We Have a Party
Must We Have a Party

Must we have a party?
What is all this fuss?
When we're Asses and Elephants
We're missing the bus
They're menageries of thinking
In ourselves we must trust
To fix what's going on
We must think it's a must
Conservatives and Liberals
All part of the game
To keep us thumb under
They don't know our names
Mixed in a crock pot
All simmered the same
Eat us when we're done
Don't you think that is lame?
What happened to freedom?
We've lost all control
Sold ourselves to the parties
Gave our bodies and souls
Might be too late
Says the latest of polls
They're dipping us out
Into large serving bowls
Wait just a minute
We should stand and not sit
Jump out of the pot
Think for ourselves just a bit
Cook them and serve them
The fire's now lit
And once we digest them
Flush them down and don't quit
