for the the 'Musings on faith ' Poetry Contest of Unseeking Seeker

if I were born into another life with views nearly the opposite to ones I held in my other lifetime, I think it’s obvious to say my religious convictions would be more aligned with those of my new culture. That said – I truly believe I’d never lose my faith in an omnipotent creator, to whom I would be ever grateful and showing my devotion to, for how could I deny God’s handiwork? It’s always around me.

My faith urges me to shower your poem with high regard. Just keep believing. It is the only path to eternal bliss. Hugs and blessings.

I’m not religious, Andrea but this is so smartly composed and perfect for the ‘Musings…’ contest. Best of luck. Terry

a simply beautiful Etheree, Andrea. I agree whole-heartedly with your words. I only have to look at the sunrise or see my husband's sparkling eyes to know that His work is awesome. I have to fave this one. Have a great afternoon, Sara

Love this and so much of what I believe. Yes, how can we deny His awesome handiwork? And yet an increasing number do

Many claim agnosticism or atheism for alleged intellectual reasons. Their god is science, their motives questionable

The only people that it makes sense to me who would not believe in God would be those who have been enslaved all their lives and abused. Not ever knowing anything good, i think they would have an excuse not to have an inkling about God.

It's called Calvinism. And you weren't born of a different faith because of it.

The challenge of the contest was to imagine you were born in a different culture, let's say Buddhist or something like that. Even those with different ideologies often have some form of belief in a creator or gods and goddesses.
