My parents were both born and raised in Macon, Georgia - so I had to read this. At first I thought you might be talking about Scarlett, but she made many a careless gesture. I am not familiar with McCullers, mayhap I should change that. Enjoyed your write, Keith ... CayCay (so Carson is a woman? One never knows anymore)
