Musings of Desolation
It’s the end of another tiring day.
Spiraling waves of frustration, anxiety
And profound remorse
Slowly swallowing all happiness
One man left awake
On the shore of a dreary ocean
A horse, an irritably disillusioned one
Stamps its foot on the hapless sand
The sky above, reeling seagulls
Their screams reverberate into the void
The ceiling-less space, that darts back
Onto the earth with enhanced rage
During summertime; better insert a cage
And put the seagulls and all other birds
Into that; while let unrepentant waves
To sweep all little red crabs into the womb
The unfathomable gorge of time and space
Before darkness, the soothing solace descends slowly...
