Musings From a Broken Heart
So many deceptions
Our poor heart can take
But some will hurt deepest
And break up our faith
And such betrayal
We will never forget
It'll haunt our days
Become nightly nightmares
When it's from an enemy
You can always dismiss
But when it's from a friend
Your heart falls into an abyss
But we're resilient
And our heart never gives up
The hurt will become past
New friends will show up...
