Music To My Ears

Effervescent elation arises and dances to ancient echoes; the rhythm of the drums heartbeat. Champagne notes bubble into the night sky; night music of Gaia’s children is music to my sleeping ears. Ethereal flutes singing to the crickets, usher me into the dreamtime and there I awaken; an ancient being, I heed the call. I drum along; wings beating out the chorus; I dance in skies of cotton white fluff. Drums intensifying, crescendo as, Native Voices sing my name. I am king Thunderbird and my subjects saluting me… music to my ears. Written 2-14-19
