Music That My Grandchildren Play

It’s outlandish and outrageous I hope it’s not contagious, The music that my grandchildren play. It’s too rowdy and too rocky, Too disky and too jockey, The music that my grandchildren play. Perhaps for younger ages But not for older sages, The music that my grandchildren play. I’d rather they go bowling Instead of rock and rolling, With music that my grandchildren play. Loud laughter and with bluster They blare their ghetto buster, Loud music that my grandchildren play. With bass guitars and superstars Send them out to the planet Mars Is it music that my grandchildren play?

It's true, James, modern music is not made for everyone's ears! I was lucky to grow in the music field (song writing/lyrics) so I learnt to adapt and accept:) // paul

Thx Paul for your perspective. I was fortunate to have two elderly friends who wrote and composed church songs. Marvin P Dalton (What a Savior-and others) and Lloyd Vaughan (The New Found Way-and others. When Lloyd was nearing 90 he asked me come with him to play at nursing homes.
