Mrs Jones
Mrs jones next door is a lovely ol gal
She checks the house when we're not home
She treats my kids like her best pals
I have twins theyre six years old
Little tearaways always into mischief
As Mrs Jones watches them with a smile
Crimbo on the way I tell them bout Santas list
Behave or no prezzie pile
I asked them to pick some toys
They named a couple of things
Crimbo morning, up early with joy
Before opening Their prezzies the twins
Turned to me and simultaneously said
Thanks Santa for my prezzies galore
But we want Mrs Jones to join us instead
So they went and knocked the door
Returning with Mrs Jones a happy little bunch
She never witnessed anything so generous
We set an extra place at the table for lunch
And Mrs Jones spent the day with us
The twins said the best Crimbo is here
With a deap breath I tried not to blush
But it really brought a tear
The perfect Crimbo bunch
So think of your neighbour at Crimbo
To some a nice prezzie is company thats all
You see its just that simple
A selfless act that never gets old
xxxxx
