Mr Contagious
Mr Contagious I have not seen you in ages.
Where have you gone you were so strong.
Mr Contagious was waiting.
He was not gone, he was there all along.
Out of the blue I caught you.
Sneakily waiting for me to come.
I cough, shiver and sweat like a river.
You stopped my lungs from working.
The nurses tried but I rolled over and died.
I should have, could have feared some more.
Now I am knocking on heaven’s door.
Patience is the key to this outrageous misery.
