Moving On From the Gardern
On a dawn of October twenty ten,
A sap was planted in a beautiful garden
Watered by a mentoring community
Nurtured by fertile soils of opportunity
Sunned by founding principles of integrity
And pruned by the edges of creativity
It grew and grew into a fruitful tree,
And its branches spread to the isles of the SEA
With the guidance from superiors it could receive
With the commitment, the fellow trees could weave
Rest in the hands of The Gardener, who is to believe
It went far beyond what it would otherwise achieve
The perfect environment for growth it thought,
With its dreams some fulfilled and some not
One day ‘The Gardener’ wanted to move the tree,
And re-plant it in a new place for it to be
It’s painful to part with the garden and other fellow trees,
It’s painful that the nurtured environment will cease
But the tree has to trust the Gardener and move on
That the new place is now the garden to grow on
