Mournful Sad Dove
Mournful Sad Dove
Just had heard the melody of a mournful dove,
Who, long ago, had lost the one he so did love
And now a sad song he will sing everyday
Trying to mourn all of his sadness away.
His sadness lasted forever so it did seem
And he remembers one night having a dream;
She was in it with her eyes full of tears
What happens to love when it disappears?
All of his sadness was so hard to endure;
When he woke up was in heaven with her;
Is always great when to heaven have gone;
Am with her each day even after dawn.
In heaven, there is never any dark there
Angels always with each other will share
Knowing they now are in a perfect place
And before each meal to God say grace.
