In West Virginia Point Pleasant lies Above it mothman sometimes flies As he takes to the skies Onlookers see glowing red eyes Unknown is what soul behind them lies But is advisable not to look at those eyes Where mothman shows up someone dies Yet he is a warning to the wise Redder then blood then fire from coal Those eyes pierce right through your soul They belong to figure seven feet tall Where mothman stood bridge would fall Those eyes like flames would dance Maybe beyond science continuum of expanse’s expanse At nonlinearity would be base of that expanse And that would even supernatural powers enhance
