I shall never be defined by the sins of my father,
who faded like a shadow in the summer rain.
I am a masterpiece of my angelic mother,
whose wings are my sanctuary when I'm in pain.
They say a boy needs a man in a world so wild,
not me for I am happy to be my mother's child.
