Mother's

I grew up without a mother but once when I was bad mouthing my wife’s mother she got mad and said something about my mother that really hurt me so bad I dropped to the floor and wailed like a little baby. It was especially bad because she had learned about it through my father who never told me before. Not that I didn’t have it coming and all that but for me it says a whole lot about how important a mother is to someone even if they were never blessed to know them. So even though I can’t officially celebrate mother’s day by visiting, I pay my homage’s to mothers all over the world.

A touching write, Leonard. Although you can't "officially celebrate" this day, you do pay homage to those who can. You've a kind and compassionate heart! I feel sad that your mother in law was so cruel, if she'd any feelings at all she should have felt remorse. Best to you and yours, Mikki

Leonard, i love honesty. You are honest. I love you. Mothers day for the inane means giving gifts to someone who shot them out of their "sideways sally". At its essence mother means caring. If you care you are your own mother. Celebrate yourself!
