Mother Earth

Oh Mother Earth Who gave us birth Oh! how unjustly we treated you And without mercy heated you Oh Mother Earth Our sweet, sweet hearth Your children cry And they die We destroy and grab their joy Oh Mother Earth We took your mirth And left nothing but Sadness like a broken down – hut You see and cry in pain It looks as if all goes in vain Oh Mother Earth Now we see your worth A hundred gold You protect us from cold Our only shelter Our greatest helper We felt our destruction Our Earth’s deduction Oh Mother Earth Guardians have been birth Who’ll hear your cry And won’t let you die They’ll keep you clean And forever green!
