Mother
Mother
You are the one that changed my life and made things really bad,
You don’t even realize you did anything wrong is what’s sad.
How can I forgive you for a wrong you feel you did not do?
Forgive you for using the one thing against me, my love for you.
I did what you want and now we have to pay,
For the actions we did on that horrifying day.
My father, your husband is dead because you tricked my mind,
Into thinking those things, how can I be so blind?
You have made me the man I am today,
And for that I just wanted to say.
I love you because you’re my mother, but I hate you for what you did,
Mom I was your son, I was just a kid.
How can you do the things you did with no remorse at all?
You were supposed to teach me do the right thing, to always stand tall.
You are my mother and I do forgive you for the person that I finally see,
See for who you really are, and not what you’re supposed to be.
