Mother

I need you Mother to hold me To feed me and hold me tight. I rely on you always to be there And to be with me day and night. Mother I wish you’d stop fussing You always embarrass me I know you mean well but I wish you would leave And stop constantly pestering me. Mother I hate you, how could you Why are always so cruel You think you know best, I wish you would leave You’re treating me like a fool. Mother I need you please call me I now have young of my own I realise how much you tried for me I’m sorry, I wish I had known. Mother I miss you, I’m sorry My best friend from the start You always loved and you always cared You’ve left and you’ve broken my heart.
