"mother"

I float within a billowing cloud Enveloped in puffs of white Drifting along in a world upside down I playfully bounce out of sight! I live with my friends who softly trill; They hop and bob, making me smile My life has begun with such a thrill, I'm contented and loved all the while! A shadow has ceased my reverie And tears I cannot help but cry; That woman again is looking at me With a world of love in her eyes! Years flew by like clouds in the sky And my life grows weary and cold- But I'll always see the love in the eyes, Of my Mother whom I long to behold!
