Morning Song

I wake to golden sun returning I see it creeping up my wall It lingers at the ceiling crown And points a golden finger down To tell me there's a time for sleeping Time enough when it goes home

What a great write this one really is Carrie! So what creature was it that was up on your wall?! Could it be a butterfly, a beautiful creature of the morning?! "And point a finger down" as if to tell you to listen to the creature and to sleep later, when the sun does! I really enjoyed your poem that I have read this afternoon! I love your write immensely!
